Volunteer Opportunities

The response from Harrison County residents in the form of volunteer labor has been tremendous.  During the 2005-2006 fiscal year, our docent staff numbered 33 and collectively they volunteered 1493 hours assisting with school programs, group tours, and day-to-day operations of the welcome center.  The facility could not get along without them.

If you are interested in volunteer opportunities at the village/welcome center, please contact Kathy Dirks at (712)-642-2114.
