Sawmill Hollow Wildlife Area

Sawmill Hollow Wildlife Area is located in the Loess Hills seven miles north of Missouri Valley off Loess Hills Trail (L20).  This area is predominately woodland habitat with hunting for deer, turkey, pheasants, rabbits, and squirrels.  Twenty-one acres of food plots greatly enhance the habitat for wildlife.  Sawmill Hollow also has a six-acre lake for fishing with bass, bluegill, and catfish.

Please be aware that access to Sawmill Hollow Wildlife Area is on a Level B "dirt" road.
