Sawmill Hollow Wildlife Area is located in the Loess Hills seven miles north of Missouri Valley off Loess Hills Trail (L20). This area is predominately woodland habitat with hunting for deer, turkey, pheasants, rabbits, and squirrels. Food plots greatly enhance the habitat for wildlife. It is also a great place for bird watching and morel mushrooms. Sawmill Hollow also has a six-acre lake for fishing with bass, bluegill, and catfish.
