Missouri Dale Wildlife Area

The Missouri Dale Wildlife Area is owned by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and managed by the Harrison County Conservation Board (as of 2009 this area is owned and managed by the Iowa DNR).  These nine acres used to be a borrow pit for the interstate system, which is located adjacent to the property.  It is now a restored prairie and marsh area.  This environment is perfect for upland game hunting, including pheasant, quail, rabbits, squirrel, deer, and turkey.  The wildlife area is located approximately one mile north of Modale.  Parking is along 260th Street.
