The Missouri Dale
Wildlife Area is owned by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and
managed by the Harrison County Conservation Board. These 9 acres
used to be a borrow pit for the interstate system, which is located
adjacent to the property. It is now a restored prairie and marsh
area. This environment is perfect for upland game hunting,
including pheasant, quail, rabbits, squirrel, deer, and turkey.
The wildlife area is located approximately 1 mile north of Modale.
Parking is along 260th Street. |
